I have spent 29 days covering the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman story first for the Orlando Weekly and for the last 10 days, the New York Daily News. Just after 12 a.m. today the PIOs (public information officers) from the Seminole County Corrections Facility came out of the prisoner intake and release building and announced the imminent release of Mr. Zimmerman.
